Show Notes

Rain before the start of the Monaco Grand Prix caused chaos on the grid and in the pit lane, with mechanics scrambling to fit wet tyres on their cars. Michael Butterworth is joined by RacingNews365's Editorial Director Dieter Rencken to look back over the Monaco Grand Prix weekend.

Once the action finally got underway, a wet-to-dry race and varying tyre strategies saw Sergio Perez claim his third Grand Prix win and his first at Monaco. With the Mexican now only 15 points behind teammate and championship leader Max Verstappen, is Perez genuinely in the title fight this year?

After polesitter and early leader Charles Leclerc lost out to emerge only fourth after the pit stops, does this point to organisational problems at Ferrari?

And with Daniel Ricciardo serving up yet more lacklustre fare in Monaco, will McLaren look to replace him next year?
